The National NC-156 Receiver
This receiver was a basket case and unfortunatly the before photos did not turn out...
This unit had been modified and needed much work to put it back to factory condition.
After the electronic work had been done I stripped the receiver and had the case sand blasted before I refinished it.
I was very happy with the finished product and also surprised as to how well it worked and how sensitive the radio is..
This was the military pre-cursor to the 240D range that was sold to the public.
